This new PianoCD features performances by these remarkable musicians... Guitarist Dave Lynch began his musical career as a teenager in the New England area. He attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied with Brett Wilmott, Al DeFino and Jamie Glasser. Dave is managing owner and luthier at Guitar Workshop, an instrument repair and music education facility in Sacramento, California. While accomplished in many musical styles, Dave's own compositions are in the electric modern jazz style. In the last few years, he's earned two Sacramento Music Awards for Best Jazz Musician. He currently performs around the northern California area with his ensemble, The Dave Lynch Group. (See his website www.davelynchgroup.com) Although pianist Cecil Ramirez is now the full-time National Sales Manager for the Mason & Hamlin Piano Company, he started his PianoDisc career in the music production department. A studio musician prized for his ability to play in many musical styles, Cecil has an extensive background in composing music for commercials and feature films. He also just recorded his first solo CD, Handemonium, due soon for national release. Appropriately, Barry Sindlinger began his piano studies on his grandmother's antique player piano. Barry is an award-winning pianist, improviser and arranger. He currently manages PianoDisc's Music Production Department. You'll hear him on tracks 5 and 8.
